JUNIOR MUSIC SUPERVISOR

(all genders), Berlin

To strengthen our Music Supervision Team in Berlin, we are looking for a Junior Music Supervisor (m/f/d) to join us full-time as soon as possible.

YOUR ROLE

As a Junior Music Supervisor at BTA, you are the central link between the film and music worlds. You will work in a dynamic environment that demands both creative flair and structured, precise work. You will navigate confidently between creative visions and legal requirements – ensuring that both come together seamlessly.

YOUR TASKS

Music Rights Clearance: Meticulous and conscientious clarification of music and licensing rights for film, TV, and media projects

Project Management: Flexible and structured work on multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to quickly switch between different requirements

Liaison Function: Active mediation and relationship building between the film and music industries

Administrative Tasks: Maintenance of databases, contracts, license protocols, and internal documentation

Creative Collaboration: Support in the musical selection and conception of suitable tracks for projects

YOUR PROFILE

Professional Qualifications

Initial professional experience, a solid degree, or training in the music, film, or media industry

Basic knowledge of music licenses and copyright is an advantage

Proficient use of administrative tools

Native-level fluency in German and English

Personality & Soft Skills

You have a genuine passion for music. Across all genres, from ABBA to Zappa, and you're proud of it. Whether it's film scores, hip-hop, jazz, indie, or pop music.

You have a natural feel for people and situations. You read the room, quickly assess dynamics, and intuitively adapt your approach. When dealing with a wide variety of personalities—whether artists, directors, producers, or rights holders—you remain empathetic, professional, and clear.

You see yourself as a team player. You know that the best results come from collaboration, and you contribute actively, reliably, and with positive energy.
