KATLIX
Many people can write songs, but not everyone can create music about specific moments. Katlix can. Whether it's restless D'n'B about too many cigarettes and far too little time like in "Missed Calls" or edgy break-up pop-punk a la "115 Tage" – with each new song, the rapper discovers new sounds and harmonies. The only constant: this voice, instantly recognizable among thousands. It's precisely this blend that makes the 20-year-old from Hamburg the new hope of the New Generation.

About
katlix has always just done his own thing. "As a child, I was constantly on edge and always had to be doing something. I played guitar, and at 11, my boys and I formed our first bands and gave interviews. As a child of the 2000s, growing up with "Stadtaffe" by Peter Fox and CRO's rap, katlix rarely comes into contact with new music since then, preferring to develop his very own style between learning by doing and trial and error, YouTube tutorials, and internships in recording studios, without influences but also without blinders. On all levels. "I've always been interested in more than just music," says katlix. "I'm also interested in photography, videography, and graphic design. I've painted sneakers, cut up sweaters, embroidered caps, and founded my first fashion label at 16 – I've tried everything creative, and in music, I can perfectly combine it and show how I perceive the world."
