Sparhawk co-founded the band Low with singer and drummer Mimi Parker. Low's music fearlessly explored elemental forces, and her thirteen albums inspired a still-evolving movement of artists exploring the vast, the graceful, and the intimate. Over time, Low's anthemic songs became increasingly urgent and resonant, and her lyrical questions intensified. Her latest album, "Hey What," released in 2021, was nominated for a Grammy and garnered worldwide attention. That was until Parker's death in late 2022.
