BTA Achieves Microsoft Certified Partner Gold Status

Microsoft_Partner_Gold__Silver.pngBTA has been recognised by Microsoft for offering best-in-class solutions to customers, recently announcing its achievement of Microsoft Certified Partner Gold status as a Midmarket Solution Provider. Only a handful of companies in the UK have been awarded Microsoft® Gold competency and only a very small percentage of worldwide partners achieve Gold Partner status, making this a notable achievement for BTA.

BTA is also one of a select number of Microsoft Managed Cloud Partners in the UK who have been recognised and accredited by Microsoft for having the required skills, expertise and experience for delivering Microsoft Cloud solutions and services.  BTA currently holds a Silver status for Cloud Productivity and Small & Midmarket Cloud Solutions providing solutions around Office 365 and Azure platforms. BTA have helped thousands of users make the transition to Microsoft Cloud and can ensure a smooth changeover from traditional on premise systems.

Gold Partners must have customer references, business-focused competency assessments and technical credentials, including engineers passing technical exams and assessments. They undergo a rigorous, auditable approval process and are considered as offering the best Microsoft support and assistance in the market. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners are Microsoft's most highly accredited independent technical support providers, and each must offer support for both data management and software development.

“We value our partnership with Microsoft and are excited to announce our Microsoft Certified Partner Gold status. BTA’s leading expertise in Microsoft products and services allows us to provide more value to clients, ensuring they receive the most technically competent Microsoft advice and support available anywhere,” said Richard Taberner, BTA’s Managing Director.

Microsoft Certified Partners provide Microsoft services on behalf of Microsoft worldwide, spanning many fields including original equipment manufacturer (OEM), education, software providers, and technical support. They have 24-hour access to Microsoft Support, which enables them to provide reliable customer support. Every MCP has been in business for at least 5 years, has passed several tests, and has proven skills in their particular field. Microsoft rewards these partners with discounts in tools that are applicable to their activities.

“One of the things that sets us apart from other IT consultancies is our constant push for excellence. BTA’s engineers are always achieving new accreditations and certifications—partly because of the culture of development here at BTA, but mostly because they truly enjoy learning and putting new expertise into practice,” says Darron Millar, Technical Services Director.

BTA has plans to achieve further Microsoft Certified Partner Gold competencies in the coming year.
