Charif and Rogér are both from Beirut and represent two generations of artists driving Lebanese music culture, with Rogér beginning his career in the late 1970s and Charif taking the helm in recent years.

About
Rogér has developed an incredibly strong cult following. His lost tapes, recorded in Beirut in the 1970s (and later in Paris while fleeing the civil war), were finally released by Habibi Funk on the LP "Fine Anyway" in 2021, followed by a second album, "East of Any Place," in 2023. No one could have imagined how much this would resonate with modern audiences—on Spotify alone, "Fine Anyway" has reached 25 million streams to date, while Rogér currently has 250,000 monthly listeners. Rogér is now in the studio recording new material for a 2025/26 release.
