Using individual buzzwords that his fans send him, Ivo Martin writes entire stories with an acoustic guitar and an almost inexhaustible fund of ideas, which he packs into songs. The short videos not only demonstrate a flair for harmony and composition, but also Ivo Martin's impressive skills as a clever songwriter with a particular talent for strong images and approachable storytelling. The 20-year-old actually had completely different plans: After graduating from high school, Ivo Martin applied to study music business at the Mannheim Pop Academy. But in the admission interview it was said: "You don't belong here - you are an artist!" So Ivo Martin decided to accept the challenge. For him, all signs have always pointed to pop star. Growing up near the old capital Bonn, the father provided early musical education, at home the Beatles ran, in the car Queens "A Night at the Opera" - to this day Ivo Martin's favorite album. At the age of six he was sent to guitar lessons, eleven years later the ambitious newcomer published his own compositions for the first time and was already attracting a lot of attention. By signing with Epic Records Germany, Ivo Martin is aiming for a fresh start.
