If you went for a soda with IUMA, she'd probably tell you how important sunscreen is and, if you're lucky, how she broke her arm skating. And maybe you'd get talking. And laugh a lot. About failed relationships, the feeling that sometimes you just can't make it on your own and that you want to give up, about vulnerability, therapy and the realization that we're all somehow uncool victims at heart and that we should all stop having to be strong. Because showing weakness and seeking help isn't a shame, but almost a duty to yourself. And that people are slowly starting to get the message across. Not least thanks to people like IUMA, who are raising awareness of these issues. Multi-dimensional, authentic, honest, current and relevant! And all of it funny. And above all, human. Her debut EP was released in January 2023 and is called "genug." Produced by Novaa and Malugi, the EP has enjoyed considerable success (radio plays on 1Live, DLF NOVA, WDR Cosmo, and many more, interviews with Kaltblut Magazin, Zeitonline, and various editorial playlists). IUMA plays over 30 concerts annually, with highlights so far including performances at TV Noir at the Admiralspalast, the Reeperbahn Festival at Häkken, and support for artists such as Wilhelmine and LEA. IUMA played her first headline shows in 2023 to sold-out audiences. In April 2024, IUMA embarked on her first solo tour, along with special guests such as Teesy, Francesco Wilking, and CONNY.
