Internal Sales Support (Full time)

Location:  London

Job Role:

  • To be customer facing and support of the field sales team in the production of pricing and proposals. Desirable attributes and experience:

  • To manage a number of ‘reactive’ BTA accounts in their own right on a day to day basis covering:
    • Service requirements
    • Product requirements
  • To effectively liaise with BTA’s IT vendors and distributors around products and attached services
  • To manage vendor special pricing bids
  • To understand and follow internal processes.

 

Senior Service Desk Engineer (Full time)

Location:  London


Work start:  ASAP


Salary:  Subject to experience


Job Role:

Liaising with the Service Desk Manager or Service Desk Team Leader to help proactively progress and resolve tickets escalated by junior engineers. Escalate calls to senior engineers where necessary to help minimise service impact to clients.

  • Act as the final point of escalation for other Junior Service Desk Engineers
  • Work closely with the Service Desk Manager to trend and resolve long standing client problems
  • Conduct periodic audits and in depth technical investigations (post incident), providing reports with technical recommendations to the SDM and Account Managers
  • Provide support to a variety of Microsoft related technologies: Server, Exchange, Office 365 etc
  • Support and troubleshoot client’s networks: WAN/LAN connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls
  • Provide recommendations on how to enhance client’s network security
  • Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and conduct periodic system reviews
  • Proactively support clients local and offsite backups
  • Communicate with customers on a regular basis keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or any required service outages.

Experience in supporting and implementing solutions in a small to mid-size business environment using the following technologies:

  • Microsoft OS and Applications (Windows 7, 8 or 10, Office)
  • Microsoft Server (2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, Exchange)
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix)

Infrastructure & Project Engineer (Full time)

Job Role:

Completing project tasks in a timely fashion and acting as point of contact for the client during a project or task. Primary Technical Contact for some clients acting as a point of escalation for junior Service Desk Engineers. Working with the Technical Services Manager in providing pro-active maintenance to clients’ IT infrastructure performing regular checks and audits.

Experience in supporting and implementing solutions in a small to mid-size business environment using the following technologies:

  • Microsoft OS and Applications (Windows 7, 8 or 10, Office)
  • Microsoft Server (2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, Exchange)
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix)

Field Services Engineer (Full time)

Location:  London

Job Role:

Providing support to clients onsite. Working with the Technical Services Manager in maintaining clients’ IT infrastructure whilst performing regular checks and audits. Also a point of escalation for junior Service Desk Engineers.

  • Regular client site visits to support any technical related issues
  • Interact with clients on a daily basis over the phone and face-to-face, log tickets on their behalf gathering as much technical information as possible
  • Support and troubleshoot end user requests and incidents ensuring tickets are escalated within quickly and efficiently to minimize client service impact
  • Proactively support clients’ local and offsite backups
  • Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
  • Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
  • Responsible for completing and documenting regular client site reviews and operational checks
  • Communication with customers and Account Manager as required, keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
