Internet Services Provisioning and Administration (Full or part time)

 Location:  London


Work start:  ASAP


Salary:  negotiable (subject to experience)


Job Role:

  • Liaise with customers/staff and suppliers to place/handle/track Internet circuit orders and other Internet services.
  • Administer account creation/removal/editing on DNS Servers, Email Servers and Web Servers and keep internal systems up-to-date.
  • Administer domain creation and registration services (e.g. set up domains on servers, handle changes, liaise with Internet Service Providers and Domain Name Registrars)
  • Administer setting up and management of additional internet services (hosting services, web sites, mail relaying, IP address allocations, RIPE applications, etc.)
  • Keeping internal systems up to date – checking all configurations are present and accurate and liaise with the accounts department to ensure all items are billed and in-sync with provided services.

 

Infrastructure & Project Engineer (Full time)

Location:  London


Work start:  ASAP


Salary:  40-45k (subject to experience)


Job Role:

  • Provide sales assistance to the Sales Team concerning the technical knowledge of products and services
  • Work closely with the Project Manager as “Technical Lead” in customer projects
  • IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware
  • Design, implementation, and support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Office 365 etc.
  • Design and implementation at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Design and implement hosted and cloud solutions for customers using technologies that meet their requirements
  • Implement and support disaster recovery solutions
  • Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
  • Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
  • Responsible for managing particular client’s estate (Primary Technical Contact)
  • Responsible for completing and documenting regular client site reviews
  • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages

 

Senior Service Desk Engineer (Full time)

Location:  London


Work start:  ASAP


Salary:  32-35k (subject to experience)


Job Role:

  • Act as the final point of escalation for other Junior Service Desk Engineers.
  • Work closely with the Service Desk Manager to trend and resolve long standing client problems.
  • Conduct periodic audits and in depth technical investigations (post incident), providing reports with technical recommendations to the SDM and Account Managers.
  • Provide support to a variety of Microsoft related technologies: Server, Exchange, Office 365 etc.
  • Support and troubleshoot client’s networks: WAN/LAN connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls.
  • Provide recommendations on how to enhance client’s network security.
  • Administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and conduct periodic system reviews.
  • Proactively support clients local and offsite backups.
  • Communicate with customers on a regular basis keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or any required service outages.
